I may be biased, but I found this amusing...

A recent scientific study found that women find different male faces attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle.

For example, when a woman is ovulating, she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features.

However, when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside.

  2. Ya know, some days I may just see truth to that, lol.

  4. Well really! Apart from the sexism, I think it is most indelicate to discuss Lady Days in such a manner. If you men knew what it was like when Aunty Flo comes to town, you wouldn't trivialise it. Of COURSE we get a little agitated because we know that The Wound of Eve takes a long time to heal - something we are reminded of every time the Redcoats Have Landed.

  5. Ah, Ms Jessop, as always, a delicate and evocative turn of phrase in your comment - "the wound of Eve" indeed! Thank you, El D
